Cecaline

Oriz supported Cecaline with the office fit-out of its new premises in Wormeldange (Luxembourg). The project ran from September 2024 to December 2024, with a dedicated phase for bespoke joinery and office acoustics solutions in October and November, followed by delivery and installation in December. A space originally designed as an apartment was transformed into a functional, comfortable workplace aligned with the company’s image.

Within this scope, Oriz delivered space planning, furniture selection, the integration of acoustic and decorative solutions, as well as delivery, installation and project follow-up. Coordination was carried out in close collaboration with the client.

Converting an apartment into offices requires a highly structured layout. The objective was to create a working environment that supports focus and collaboration, strengthens privacy, and improves day-to-day wellbeing. The concept prioritised efficient use of space, a coherent overall look, and a comfortable atmosphere, with particular attention to office acoustics.

A clear layout across 100 m²

The fit-out covers 100 m² and is organised around an open-plan office with five workstations, complemented by a meeting room. The kitchen was designed as a multifunctional area that can also host informal catch-ups. Circulation routes and storage, including an archive area, were integrated to keep workflows smooth and provide appropriate capacity for filing and organisation.

Furniture was selected for daily use, with a focus on comfort and durability. The project also includes bespoke storage units produced with a joiner, finished in black, to meet specific dimensional constraints and storage requirements. Decorative touches, including wall compositions and greenery accents, were incorporated to enhance the ambience and support workplace wellbeing.

Enhanced acoustics to improve work quality

Acoustics were a central element, especially within the open-plan area. Acoustic desk divider panels between workstations help reduce disturbance and support concentration. In the kitchen, decorative acoustic wall panels with a printed motif were used, featuring an image connected to the company’s activity. A large bespoke acoustic panel was also installed in the open-plan office. In the meeting room, an acoustic ceiling panel positioned above the table improves speech intelligibility and comfort during meetings.

The overall aesthetic follows a clean, professional identity, built around black-and-white contrasts and metal structures. The luminaires, supplied by Oriz, complete the atmosphere. Installation was handled by the client together with their electrician.
