## A multifunctional space

## The Solar Screen warehouse becomes a multifunctional space

		
The recent transformation of a section of Solar Screen's warehouse stands as a testament to creative space optimization.

		
This [ambitious project](/our-services/workspace-design/)aimed to establish a versatile area capable of accommodating storage, training, and the demonstration of Solar Screen's expertise, all while preserving the warehouse's fundamental functions.

### Creating an educational and showroom space

Solar Screen sought to convert a part of its warehouse into a training room designed for teaching vehicle film application techniques. The project required three distinct areas: a garage, a workshop, and a showroom.

## Our creative response: a showroom, workshop and garage space

		
In the showroom, we crafted a bespoke, elongated bench along the windows, housing 200 automotive adhesive film samples beneath.

		
This arrangement facilitates easy sample access and fosters a social atmosphere for discussions and relaxation.

The **workshop area** features glass panelling and a black wrought-iron door, enhancing aesthetics and drawing attention to the operational machinery.

Collaborating with [LIGHT ADDICT](/partners/light-addict/), we designed a tool wall and honeycomb ceiling lights for the **garage**, ensuring the lighting is technically appropriate for the space.

## Architectural solutions and challenges solved

		
This project navigated through various architectural and logistical hurdles.

		
A primary challenge was creating a welcoming space for visitors while maintaining warehouse access. We employed acoustic panels on wheels [(EOL](/partners/categorie/eol/)) to establish a movable partition that offers both flexibility and sound insulation.

Another challenge involved making the showroom inviting despite its proximity to the garage. We strategically placed high and low tables by [RS BARCELONA](/partners/categorie/rs-barcelona/), cozy seating by [HARTO](/partners/categorie/harto/), and complementary cushions and accessories to enhance and define the showroom space.

This initiative has successfully forged a functional and inviting environment where employees, trainers, trainees, and clients can harmoniously interact.
