## Redesigning the reception area 

		
A comfortable design for visitors

		We had the pleasure once again of working with the National Society of Automobile Traffic (SNCA) in Sandweiler, Luxembourg, to transform their reception and waiting areas.

## A warm welcome

		


		
The SNCA wanted to breathe new life into its reception area by offering visitors a warm and comfortable experience. Their aim was to create a professional environment that reflected their commitment to service quality, while showcasing modern design and enhanced acoustics.

**The reception desk**

The counter has been designed to combine modern aesthetics with practicality:

- **Side cladding** in wood lath with a black background ([INCATRO](/partners/incatro/)).
- **Worktop and shelf** in black Fenix ([NARBUTAS](/partners/narbutas/)), showing off a durable and elegant surface.
- **Dividers with plant troughs** (TANAMAN) for a natural touch.
- **Black RAL 9005 paint** on walls and top units for a sophisticated look.

## Four comfortable waiting areas, designed to meet visitors' needs

		


		
Waiting area 1

- Made-to-measure **high tables** ([NARBUTAS](/partners/narbutas/)) are combined with **Alfa stools** ([MARTE](/partners/marte/)) for a dynamic look.
- **Plant decoration** with Pampas in black pots (TANAMAN).
- **Acoustic wall panels** ([INCATRO](/partners/incatro/)) for enhanced sound comfort.

Waiting area 2

- **Astro** seating modules and **Miami** footstools (QUADRIFOGLIO), with matching round coffee tables.
- Integrated planters with plants (TANAMAN), adding natural freshness.

Waiting area 3

- A mix of Radar **(**[EMMEGI](/partners/emmegi/)**)** armchairs, sofas and footstools, offering comfort and diversity.
- Matching coffee tables and plants in black pots (TANAMAN) for a harmonious ambience.

Waiting area 4

- **Radar sofas** without any armrests ([EMMEGI](/partners/emmegi/)), set in a corner lined with **Incalines** ([INCATRO](/partners/incatro/)).
- **Banana trees in black pots** (TANAMAN) and a large wall screen, creating an area that is both relaxing and functional.

## A successful synergy of acoustics and aesthetics

		


		A key aspect of this project was to improve the acoustics to ensure a pleasant experience for visitors. Thanks to INCATRO's innovative acoustic solutions incorporating wall panels and suspended elements, we have reduced ambient noise while adding an aesthetic dimension to each space.

The SNCA's new reception area is now a place that perfectly reflects their commitment to excellence and comfort. Visitors benefit from a modern, welcoming environment, while the SNCA team can make use of a functional space adapted to their needs.
